Opening in 1973 with the first building, the hotel now comprises a collection of six historically listed buildings.

We are a two-star hotel, family owned and run for over 30 years, the hotel is fully non-smoking and the facilities include 52 comfortable bedrooms all with a bathroom, television and telephone.

Our kitchen team produces tempting dishes based on local, national and international cuisine, the emphasis being the use of locally produced fresh food. All special diets can be catered for, but advance notice is appreciated to allow for the purchase of specific requirements.

The Meetings Place itself is a self-contained conference centre, comprising of 4 modern meeting rooms designed with your needs in mind. Each of these rooms can be adapted in a variety of layouts to suit individual requirements. In addition, the Old Sawmill has been completely restored to provide a fully equipped fitness facility within the hotel grounds.
