The 4-star Hotel Sonnenhotel Astenhof in Winterberg promises guests stunning panoramic views of the country of a thousand mountains. Winterberg is the centre of the Sauerland’s ski region, and offers the largest range of winter sports north of the Alps. The hotel features typical Sauerland style and has a restaurant, garden terrace and hotel bar.
The rooms enjoy a peaceful setting within the hotel and are equipped with en-suite facilities, hairdryer, telephone and TV and some have either a balcony or a terrace. To enable you to get the most from your accommodation all year round, we have classified our accommodation accordingly.
Each morning we serve a varied breakfast buffet. Enjoy the ample choice on offer from our varying themed buffets.

The familiar atmosphere, as well as the quiet and enchanting location of our very cultivated hotel, makes it the ideal purpose for everybody who search for rest. The centre is 10 minutes within walking distance away, where you can go shopping and experience the gastronomic variety of the town of Winterberg.
The old forester's lodge exists for 75 years, so it is a really cosy and traditional house with history. In the course of time it was elegantly renovated and built out again and again, so that we can offer you a contemporary comfort with a romantic atmosphere.
We dispose of 2 single rooms, 12 comfort double rooms (also bookable as single room), 3 superior double rooms (also bookable as 3- or 4-bed room), 2 comfort three-bed rooms and 2 comforts four-bed rooms. All rooms are non-smoking rooms.
The rural cuisine is the traditional base for solid, up to imaginative seasonal dishes. Enjoy a good beer, or a comfortable coffee table at our beautiful garden terrace. Breakfast will be served from 07:30 a.m.
You can relax in the sauna and solarium. The sauna can be used free of charge. |
