Weben is the ideal starting point for a visit to Spreewald as well as a trip to the sprawling city of Berlin, Potsdam, Dresden, Cottbus or Niederlausitz. Those of you wishing to be more active can enjoy riding a bike along the excellent 300 m long bicycle lanes.
If you have already tried the delicacies prepared by the hosts in Spreewald Peter Franke and his wife, you will be looking forward to enjoying them again. Here the Spreewald tradition comes to life, and dishes are prepared in a way that leaves a lasting impression on the guests.
The hotel disposes of 33 modern rooms that all come with a shower, WC, Sat TV and a telephone. There is also a cosy restaurant representing the traditional style of Spreewald. It features a big outdoor terrace.
Our property also offers you bike rental and organises boat trips as well as canoe trips. Those of you who wish something out of the ordinary can book a cooking course. The culinary academy of Spreewald for hobby cooks enjoys popularity abroad as well. Participate at events such as “Spreewalder Landparty”,”Sauerkrautfestival” (“Sour carbage festival”), the “Spreewalder-Koch-Marathon” (“Culinary marathon of Spreewald”) or acquire the famous Gurkendiplom (“cucumber diploma”) at the Cucumber Academy of Spreewald.
