In the beginning, the residenza Cannaregio was a monastery of the XVII century from that it has inherited the structure "a chiostro" with the typical internal court; in the first years of the XIX century it became a "squero" which was the place where they used to build gondolas; nowadays it has been transformed into a very modern and comfortable structure.

It is located in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and picturesque areas of the city, where still today it is possible to find traditions of a popular Venice, few steps from the Campo del Gheto Novo, the oldest Jewish settlement in Europe and not far from Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco.

Thanks to the central position, the Residenza Cannaregio is easy to reach by public boats and it is provided with a private access for gondolas and water taxis on San Alvise Canal. To provide the guests a pleasant stay, the large bedrooms are enriched with mezanine floors and equipped with all the modern comforts: air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, pay TV, internet point, radio and safe box.
