Set in 3 acres of grounds and surrounded by Essex Countryside, making it the ideal place to stay if you are using the airport for business or pleasure. We can offer guests fabulous views of the countryside, and easy access to London, Cambridge and many historic Essex villages. All our rooms are en-suite, with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is a light self service, toast with selection of jams and marmalades, cereal, fruit juice, tea and coffee, available for whenever you require it, ensuring that however early you leave you can still have breakfast. 3 days free parking after your stay, after that parking is charged at GBP5.00 per night. By Car Take junction 8 off the M11 motorway, not the new airport slip road. Head towards Takeley on the B1256. After 2.5 miles turn left at the traffic lights. Follow this road for 1 mile. The guest house is on the left. If you reach a small roundabout at the entrance to the airport, you have gone too far, go around the roundabout and come back on yourself by half a mile. Via A120 from Braintree Take the B1256 to Takeley. After 3 miles, turn right at the traffic lights. Follow this road for one mile. The guest house is on the left. If you reach a small roundabout at the entrance to the airport, you have gone too far. Go around the roundabout and come back on yourself by half a mile. On foot Outside the terminal, walk to your right. At the roundabout, take the exit to Takeley. At the mini-roundabout, turn right. Walk for one kilometre, approx 10 minutes. The guest house is on the right. |
