The Scheune restaurant offers sophisticated dining, surrounded by the atmosphere of an original medieval timber-framed barn. The restaurant and the Mühlenstube café present cosy hospitality in the style of a Thuringian farmer’s parlour. A conservatory and summer terrace adjoin the parlour.
The health resort of Hammermühle is located at the hotel and comprises a sauna area with 5 different saunas, swimming pools and a Jacuzzi tub. Hotel in Jena: Jena is a beautiful town in the "Green Heart" of Thuringia. It is located along the "Klassiker Strasse Thueringen" which is 300 km long. Jena is known as one of the traditional university and optician towns. There are a lot of sights like the old city wall with the "Platanenhaus" and the Zeissplanetarium. Go for a walk in the botanical gardens, through the "Drackendorfer Heimatstuben" or the mineral collection. You can also follow Schiller´s or Goethe´s traces. There are more interesting views if you go for a walk in the historical part of the town.
The Fair Resort sports and wellness hotel is about 5km from the centre of Jena. The tram stop is about 300m on foot. It is close to the motorway A4 which can be perfectly used for trips through Thuringia.
Tourism-Fee:From 01.April 2005 on, a fee of 1 EUR a night/person will be charged. This is to be paid directly at the hotel.
You can relax in the new, large wellness area which is built in ancient Roman style with an indoor pool, 3 experimental-showers, Caldanum, Tepidarium, Finnish sauna and Bio sauna.
