Hotel Haus Sonnenberg is located on the sunny western slope of the Vogelsberg Mountains, in the outskirts of the state-approved climatic spa of Schotten in Hesse. In the hotel vicinity you will find the Hoherodskopf peak with its 764 m and the Taufstein peak with its 773 m, the two highest elevations of the nature park Hoher Vogelsberg and the Niddastausee lake at a distance of 2 km.

The 18 single, 24 double rooms and the 3 apartments feature modern amenities and come with a bathtub or shower, WC, hair-dryer, sat TV, telephone, Internet access, WLAN, radio and a desk.

In our restaurant we will spoil you with regional and international delicacies. Start your day with our copious and healthy breakfast buffet and let the day fade away in the hotel bar while sipping your favourite drink.

You can profit from our spa area spreading over more than 200 m² and featuring a spacious indoor swimming pool, sauna, bowling alley and 2 solariums. Those of you who love winter sports will be happy to find cross-country ski tracks and departure slopes with a ski lift. In the summer you can enjoy different kinds of sports activities on the Niddastausee lake, such as sailing and surfing.
