The Stadthotel Via Roma was opened in 2003. The former Taverne zur Römerstraße was first mentioned in 1421 and later on it was called Römerwirt by the Salzburg locals. Our hotel is set in the district of Nonntal, next to the Old Town and south of the Hohensalzburg Fortress and the Nonnberg Convent, 10-15 minutes from the town centre.

All hotel rooms offer modern amenities and a classical design. Guests have the choice between standard and deluxe rooms and suites. Each room is provided with shower, toilet, hair-dryer, cosmetic mirror, TV, phone, internet access, safe and mini-bar.

We serve a rich and exquisite breakfast and the hotel has a terrace, a lift and a sunbathing area in the adjacent garden.

Close to the hotel there is a bus stop. The bus takes you to the city centre, to the main station and to the northern districts of Salzburg.
