The Sporthotel Scaletta is located in the centre of the village, close to the bank, post office, bakery and the council offices. It is just 500 m from the train station and the bus for Engadin stops right in front of the hotel. It is 2 km to the cross-country ski runs and and the inline slopes, St. Moritz is 18 km away.

Just as the Engadiner village of S-chanf is steeped in tradition, the Sporthotel Scaletta has retained its original glory. Today the oldest guest house in the village is a comfortable sports hotel with its own unique style and character. The newly refurbished rooms are designed in pine wood and equipped with all necessary amenities, guaranteeing you a relaxing and unforgettable holiday in Engadin.

A restaurant with a table for regulars, Stüvetta Scaletta, the hunters’ lodge for non smokers, Scaletta Saal, and Chäs-Stall for cheese fondues and raclettes. We serve international cuisine with an Italian touch and local specialities. The hunters’ lodge is ideal for conferences and seminars of up to 50 people.
