The 3,5-star Hotel Luitpold am See 1 & 2 with the lake restaurant in the Art Nouveau villa and the 2 buildings (Haus 1 and Haus 2) is located in Prien right at the Chiemsee Lake, also known as the “Bavarian Sea”. You can reach the hotel within 1 hour by car from Munich and within 40 minutes from Salzburg.

The Haus 1 offers 54 rooms and a lake restaurant with a wonderful view of the Chiemsee and the Bavarian Alps. The Haus 2 with its 24 rooms, a restaurant, large hall and traditional Bavarian beer garden is some 100 m away from the lake. There are 5 family rooms sleeping up to 6 people.

Our restaurants, together with the cosy and stylish rooms, ensure an informal and friendly atmosphere. They are all equipped with shower, toilet, hair-dryer, satellite TV, clock radio, telephone and safe. Some of them have ceiling fans. WLAN internet access is available in the whole hotel. Both hotel buildings provide complimentary parking facilities for guests.

In the restaurants, the beer garden and on the terrace by the lake (weather-permitting) you can treat yourself to typical Bavarian and international specialties from 11:00 a.m. and try delicacies from our private confectionery.

Our hotel complex provides facilities for seminars, celebrations and all kinds of events such as birthday parties, family celebrations, weddings and company anniversaries.

The shipping pier for the islands Herreninsel  and Fraueninsel is by Haus 1.

In the immediate vicinity you will find a mini golf course with bicycle rental and the water park Prienavera Erlebnisbad with its private beach. At the promenade you can rent a sail boat, an electric boat or a rowboat. The Chiemsee cycling path starts some 200 m away. You can explore the region around the Chiemsee Lake within 4 to 6 hours by bicycle.
