There are many possibilities to find rest and recreation. A large sauna area, with steam and dry sauna (for 10-12 people), a whirlpool, sunbeds as well as fitness and relaxation areas are at your disposal.
The rooms (some of them with a balcony) are individually appointed and equipped with TV, mini-bar, radio alarm clock, phone, safe, hair-dryer and magnifying mirror in the bathroom.
We also cater for your culinary wishes and serve you a variety of pancakes (specialty of our hotel), solid Sauerland ham sandwiches, Gevelinghausen onion cutlets, home-made cake and waffles. Our hotel is also very popular with hikers who are always welcome to take a seat in our beer-garden, on our sun-terrace, our restaurant, our pub, or our drawing room with its open fireplace.

Our quiet and comfortable hotel is located at the edge of a forest and has excellent transport connections. All our rooms include a bathroom with shower or tub, toilet, cable TV and direct dial phone. Some rooms have a balcony.
In our hotel you can start a new day with a copious breakfast buffet and in the evening we serve you a delicious 4-course dinner.
The recently built wellness area with whirlpool, sauna, sunbeds, infra red cabin and massage facilities is perfect for relaxing moments accompanied by soft background music. In sunny weather you may take advantage of our sunbathing area, have a glass of good wine in our beer-garden or enjoy a piece of home-made cake on our café-terrace.
We shall be glad to arrange for bowling events, tours in a covered wagon, sightseeing tours and trips to the beautiful surroundings of the Sauerland Region.
Our hotel is situated in Gudenhagen, a district of Brilon. This is a German region which is particularly rich in forests. In the proximity you will find a golf course (green fee cards are available).
The public pool in the middle of the forest invites you for a refreshing bath. In the vicinity of the hotel there are also a tennis court /tennis hall and a stud farm with riding arena. The town of Willingen offers possibilities for various activities. A thermal spa in lagoon style, a summer toboggan run, an ice rink and a chair lift are only a few of the main attractions. You may also visit the glassworks, the slate mine or the deer and nature park where performances with birds of prey take place every day. The Mühlenkopf Ski Jump is well known for its ski jumping world cups during the winter season.
Take your time and explore the Sauerland Region e.g. the Diemelsee (a lake), Arolsen Castle, the Twistesee (a lake) where you can go water skiing, the Möhnesee Dam or the town of Paderborn. Close to Brilon (1 km) there are dialysis facilities for people who suffer from kidney disease.
