At the exit roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A696 sign
posted A696 the South Newcastle. Continue forward on the
A696 heading towards the City Centre for 3 mile where you
will come to the junction with the A1. At the roundabout
take the 3rd exit onto Ponteland Rd and follow the A167
sign posted City Centre. Stay on the A167 for 1.3 miles
passing the Kenton Bar Harehills and Springfield
roundabouts. At the cowgate roundabout take the 1st exit
sign posted City Centre. At Cow Hill interchange branch
left then merge onto the road sign posted City North and
West. At traffic signals turn right onto the A189. Cross
road bridge and continue forward onto Grandstand Road on
the A189 sign posted City Centre West Gateshead. At
junction with Fenham Hall Drive continue forward onto
Ponteland Rd staying on the A189. At Hunters Moor traffic
signals continue forward onto Barrack Rd on the A189
through Stanhope Street junction and follow A189 sign
posted City Centre Gateshead. Turn left onto Westgate Road
A186 then turn right into Thornton Street. |
