Grey Street Hotel is situated on Grey Street, named as one of the Worlds most beautiful streets. Graceful Georgian architecture arcs from the hotel at the bottom to the magnificent Theatre Royal at the top and whilst Newcastle has enjoyed a cultural revolution for us, this part of the city is the true heart and centre for attractions, dining and entertainment.
Literally within around a 500 metre circumference of the property you will reach some of Newcastle's finest attractions like the Theatre Royal, Baltic Centre, Opera House, The Sage Gateshead, Millenium Bridge, The Laing Gallery, the train and Metro links, Eldon Square Shopping Centre.
Whilst going a little further out, Newcastle Racecourse, Football Ground, Hancock Museum, Gateshead Stadium, Metro Shopping Centre, Angel of the North, visit the village of Beamish and taste the beer, Hadrian's Wall / Segedunum, Saltwell Oark, are all heritage must do's. What most people visiting the North East often forget is how beautiful the coast is and during your schedule our recommendation is to try to fit this in.Newcastle Intl Airport NCL 6.5 mi west |
