Nestled harmoniously in the middle of a gently rolling landscape, lies the Tunzenberg estate, an unexpected treasure in Lower Bavaria between Dingolfing and Straubing. Here, next to one of the most beautiful seats of Lower Bavarian nobility, lies the Hotel Schloss Schenke.
The individual rooms have been very generously and lovingly decorated. They offer above average comfort. In such a personal hotel atmosphere, there are of course no ordinary room numbers. Our rooms are named after famous operas. In our establishment you will find, on the first floor, 7 guest rooms all equipped with a bathtub or shower and toilet.
The hotel offers a pub with around 30 seats, a restaurant seating 20 and 2 rooms with seats for 50 and 120 persons. We serve a classic breakfast, so we are happy to fulfil all requirements, and you can try homemade jams and fresh eggs from Tunzenberg´s farmers.
Away from the main road you can enjoy peace and quiet here, sleep in and take time to unwind. The Tunzenberg Castle is not least for its tranquillity and seclusion, known as one of Lower Bavaria’s most beautiful seats of the nobility. |

Our hotel is open from 6.00 am to 10 pm. Nevertheless, you should arrive by 8 pm at the latest. In case of arriving later, please confer with us.
