-Travel north on the A453 towards Nottingham. At Nottingham join the A52 eastbound until reaching the A1. Follow the A1 northbound passing the turning for Grantham until reaching Gonerby Roundabout. Continue straight across and filter into the right hand lane and turn across the dual carriage way into Toll Bar Road. Travel 1 mile where the Olde Barn is located on the left hand side.Starting point: BHX-Birmingham Airport-76.30 miles NE
-leave the airport and take the A45 towards Coventry and the M42. Join the M42 and travel northbound to junction 7A then bear left onto the M6. Continue eastbound on the M6 to junction 2 where you should join the M69 northbound until reaching the M1. Join the M1 northbound and exit junction 21A taking the A46 towards Leicester for 7.6 miles. Leave the A46 taking the A607 past Melton Mowbray heading towards Grantham where you will reach the A1. Follow the A1 northbound for 3.9 miles until reaching Gonerby Roundabout.  pleasant welcome, clean room with many facilities in good working order, nice spa/gym facilities. A very positive aspect (from my point of view) was that upon entering, it was not as steaming hot as hotel rooms usually are.There was a good thermostate in the room though. |

A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. |
