Hotel Description:

Country house hotel with open fires- chandeliers and antiques set in 35 acres of beautiful grounds including the Beale Arboretum established in 1963. Most rooms have garden or country views and some rooms are in a separate air conditioned lodge. There are 3 four poster rooms. The Cedar Restaurant has 2 AA rosettes for good food and is well known throughout the area. There are 8 conference and banqueting rooms- ideal for conferences- training courses- weddings or family celebrations. The grounds are also suitable for corporate activities. There is a good programme of special events ranging from jazz concerts to open air theatre and the hotel is very popular at Christmas time. The Safiya Health Beauty Rooms offer a wide range of treatments including tailor made packages for brides- bridegrooms- bridesmaids and mother of the bride. Products include Elemis with a range of therapeutic treatments including massage- facials and wraps. Makeup is by Sothys and the nail manicure pedicure rooms use OPI natural nail care products. Guests using the hotel have use of a nearby private leisure club with indoor pool and gymnasium.
