The Hotel Alpina in Kandersteg is a child and family friendly offering a large garden and a playground. The municipality of Kandersteg is located at the end of the wonderful Kander Valley at about 3,940 feet altitude. In winter there is direct access to the wonderful cross country ski tracks.

The rooms offer you space to feel at home. The amenities include, amongst other things, satellite TV and radio. From each room you can enjoy the unique view of the high alpine mountains of Kandersteg.

In the rustic restaurant we will be glad to cater for your culinary wishes. How about an original Swiss cheese fondue? During peak season a farmer’s buffet with musical entertainment takes place every Thursday evening. In summer lunch can be also taken in the Alpine mountain hut, depending on the weather conditions.

The hotel offers also a terraced garden, children play area, emergency instructions, a reading room, wheelchair access and lawns.
