Jena is a beautiful town in the "Green Heart" of Thuringia. It is located along the "Klassiker Strasse Thueringen" which is 300 km long. Jena is known as one of the traditional university and optician towns. There are a lot of sights like the old city wall with the "Platanenhaus" and the Zeissplanetarium. Go for a walk in the botanical gardens, through the "Drackendorfer Heimatstuben" or the mineral collection. You can also follow Schiller´s or Goethe´s traces. There are more interesting views if you go for a walk in the historical part of the town.

The Fair Resort sports and wellness hotel is about 5km from the centre of Jena. The tram stop is about 300m on foot. It is close to the motorway A4 which can be perfectly used for trips through Thuringia.

From 01.April 2005 on, a fee of 1 EUR a night/person will be charged. This is to be paid directly at the hotel.

You can enjoy a variety of national, international and vegetarian food in our two restaurants. We have a rich breakfast buffet and if you book half-board you get a buffet including wine, beer and soft drinks for 2h in the evening.
