Built in 1848 the Old Waverley is an old Victorian building with a grade 2 listing. Individual rooms provide pleasant décor. Within walking distance of several major attractions and opposite Waverley Train Station and Airbus Terminus. A traditional hotel with many modern features, excellent standard of service and friendly welcoming staff.

    guest rating (travelling as a couple, private, 31-40 years)  (9,5 of 10) 
      Perfect hotel. Nice location right on Princess str. 3 min to airport shuttle bus stop. 10 min walk to Royal Mile. Spaceous clean room and friendly personell. Even hotel is marked as 3*, it definitely should be ranked as 3+ or "almost 4*". Perfect price/performance ratio.

      No hairdriev in bath room (but it is normal for 3*). Renovation works at 4-th floor, but it is also didn't create problems.
