 We had stayed at this Gasthaus three years ago, and had a lovely clean spacious room on the top floor. This time, we were given a much older, rather shabby room, too small and not well maintained. The corners of the windows, bathroom floors, etc., were cobwebby and dirty, and the bathroom floor didn't look very clean. It appeared to us as though a third bed had been added temporarily to a normal double, making it very cramped and crowded. We were terribly disappointed, particularly since we had spoken so highly of the accommodation to our travelling companion. We asked for a larger, newer room, but were turned down because the place was fully booked, due to Oktoberfest. All in all, a huge disappointment, particularly since we had booked EIGHT MONTHS in advance! Not a very nice way to spend our last night Germany at the end of a three-week trip. The price-performance ratio would have been fine, had we gotten what we expected, but this was NOT satisfactory. |

| More friendly and helpful does not vexist... It's over expectation, fantastic... not to mention that the food is good. I will send them a warm thank you, they are wonderful people. |
