Clean, well designed establishment. The restaurant was surprisingly good as my experience generally with hotel restaurants is not very positive. The full English breakfast was very good, particularly as we were able to negotiate a deal (£13 for two as opposed to the rack rate of £10 per head).
We arrived at the dining room at 18.35hrs having been told by the reception clerk that a booking was unnecessary. The restaurant was practically empty but the maitre d'hotel went through a Basil Fawlty performance telling us he "might be able to squeeze us in". The other restaurant staff were excellent.
