The staff were very helpful and polite and made my stay a very enjoyable one - they even understood my German :-D
I had no information that to activate the lights for the room, I had to put the room card into the holder just inside the door. However with a single queery to the reception it was sorted.
As your hotel is situated on one of the old British Army camps (Dortmund was the largest Gunner garrison in BAOR)I am surprised that there was no history or old photos of the local area as this would attract ex-servicemen who have come back to revisit their memories. This is not really a negative, but maybe a suggestion for the future?
