The town of Kitzingen (21,000 inhabitants) with its historic old town is located in the heart of the beautiful Franconian winegrowing country and can be reached easily via the A7 motorway (Kitzingen exit) or the A3 motorway (Rottendorf or Schwarzach exits). The Hotel Kitzinger Hof (directly on the B8 federal highway) is just five minutes from the centre of town.
All 11 double rooms, which can also be had as single or three-bed rooms are equipped with shower/WC, radio, W-Lan, ISDN telephone, cable TV and hairdryer, and some also have soundproof walls.
In our restaurant, "Gegners Weinkeller", beneath the hotel in the old vaulted cellar, we offer Franconian cuisine for groups and house guests. Our wine list includes a large selection of Franconian wines. We can also wine tastings and wine sales by prior arrangement.
The conference room in the vaulted cellar does not have daylight, but can offer modern conference facilities (overhead projector, projection screen, flipchart, TV, video, ISDN).
Cycle hire, well-signposted cyclepaths, indoor and outdoor swimming pools just 5 minutes from the hotel. Boating on the Main, walks in the area and also many sporting activities such as tennis, bowling and golf. Excursions to Würzburg, Rothenburg or Bamberg. Or the German Lent Museum, Patissiers Museum and a large range of cultural activities. In the hotel pets are permitted (6,00 EUR per day). |

banks of River Main. Bike enthusiasts will find many challenges here. Plain
areas along the river banks and steep trails leading through the wine growing
area. Hikers can enjoy fantastic views and natural wonders of rare existence.

historical three-star Renaissance Hotel (originally a medieval rural estate and
later on a Bavarian county court) offers 19 individually appointed, nostalgic
non-smoker rooms. There is also an attic suite with fantastic, historical oak
beams. At this hotel you will not find 2 rooms alike. All of them are carefully
equipped and furnished with antiques. Interior style ranges from Baroque
closets to Louis XVI four-poster beds and elegant Biedermeier tables.
A creative
cusine is served at our Sachs Restaurant. Dishes are predominantly prepared and
flavoured with fresh herbs from the hotel´s orchard along the Main banks or
with wild herbs grown in the vineyards. Even seafood is part of the menu.
