| The Lint Hotel is located in one of the nicest parts of the "Old Town", between the lovely Lintgasse and the oldest and most famous of Cologne's romanesque churches-Gross St. Martin. Away from traffic noise, the Lint Hotel is situated in a large cobblestone pedestrian zone. From here, it's just 50 meters to the Rhine or the historic city hall, three minutes walk to the cathedral, train station or philharmonics, and 15 minutes to the convention center. Ecological factors play a strong role in the renovation in 1999. In addition to the basic ideas of garbage reduction and recycling, heating and hot water needs will be met partially through 30 square meters of solar collectors on the roof. 18 rooms, nine double single and nine double twin.
