| Hotel Description: |
| The Royal Hotel, Cardiff is the city's newest and hippest hotel. Cool and contemporary in style. This beautiful period building has been restored by Niche Hotels with their trademark contemporary influences, whilst celebrating the period of the building.
A 64 bedroom hotel, with interior design influence from the minimalist period, each room is equipped with a plasma screen and DVD player and features power showers, Hypnos beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
The building was originally a hotel and had been restored to reflect modern living, however, the original oak panelled dining room, The Scott Room, has been restored to its former glory, aptly named as it was indeed used by Scott himself to plan his trip to the Antarctic and can still be booked exclusively for private events. |
