Located in the heart of bustling Callander and within easy reach of the Trossachs National Park, the "Dreadnought" is close to the shops and amenities of the town yet still offering a calm and peaceful location in which to relax.

Built by the Clan McNab in the 1600s, the hotel has a periodic charm to accompany the modern facilities. All rooms are en-suite and most of the rooms are providing baths and only a few having showers, all have colour TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The Lounge bar has wood panelled walls and architecturally listed stained glass windows, a very traditional restaurant provides seasonal dishes and specials each night on a la carte items. "The Dreadnought" offers two conference rooms with a maximum capacity of 100 delegates. Both rooms are very traditional and equipped with an OHP and screens, flip charts and TV/video facilities. The hotel is an approved licensed premise for holding civil ceremonies and in our restaurant which holds up to 140 people for your meal and function in the evening, the Dreadnought is the best choice for your event. A large staircase in the foyer of the hotel offers a special place for wedding photographs.
