Our hotel "acora Hotel und Wohnen Bochum" was opened in 1991 and is situated in the very heart of Bochum, only 300 metres from the pedestrian area. The hotel has continuously been refurbished in the last years and is a modern and comfortable hotel. Our concept “Hotel und Wohnen” combines the traditional kind of accommodation with independent living.

Whether you stay for one night or for several months, you will surely feel like at home in our spacious rooms and apartments (18-25 m²). The bright rooms are friendly furnished offering a comfortable equipment. All apartments provide a mini kitchen, where you can enjoy self-catering whilst you do not have to miss the comfort of a three-star superior hotel.

The most important meal of the day is the breakfast. Therefore we serve a rich, diversified whole food breakfast buffet. For dinner, our restaurant “Fässle” serves regional specialities and a classic, international cuisine – fresh, light and delicious! In summer we invite our guests for convivial barbecue once a week.

The metropolis of Bochum is located in the centre of the region Ruhrgebiet in the federal state of North Rhine Westphalia. This city has 380,000 inhabitants and is the sixth largest city of the region. It is famous for the German Mining Museum, the planetarium, its football teams VFL Bochum and SG Wattenscheid as well as for the world´s most successful musical Starlight Express.
