Starting point: North
From M6 South or North West: Leave the M6 at Junction 6 and follow the A38-M. Follow signs to City Centre, Bromsgrove A38. Do not take any exit to the left. Go over the first flyover and through just 2 tunnels (Queensway). On exiting the second tunnel keep on the left hand lane, indicate left and go down the parallel running slip road down to Holloway Circus Island roundabout, where you take the fourth exit and actually come back the way you were going. Keep in the left hand lane and take the second left into Severn Street. Continue into Commercial Street and the hotel itself is about 100 meters further up on your right hand side. To go directly to the Mailbox car park you will need to take a sharp right just as you enter Severn Street. Please note that (1) you will see the official brown- The Mailbox- tourist signs as soon as you reach the city centre and (2) that by keeping to the above directions you have the choice of whether coming directly to the hotel or going straight to the Mailbox Car Park.Starting point: South
From M5 South-West: Leave the M5 at Junction 3 and travel towards Birmingham City Centre along the A456 (Hagley Road) for 5 miles to leave Five Ways Island. This is easily distinguishable as it is surrounded by large office blocks and a Tesco store. You will by this time have seen a number of the official brown - The Mailbox- tourist signs. Take the third exit at this island which will begin to take you down Holloway Head to the Holloway Circus Island. Take the first exit (Suffolk Queensway) and then 2nd left into Severn Street. Continue into Commercial Street and the hotel itself is about 100 meters further up on your right hand side. To go direct to The Mailbox car park, you will need to take a sharp right just as you enter Severn Street.Starting point: East
From M40 Oxford South: Arrive on the M42 and travel west towards the M5. Travel north on the M5 leaving at junction 3 (read directions from M5 South-West).Starting point: Airport
From Birmingham International Airport-NEC: Follow the A45 (Coventry Rd) towards the city center for about 6 miles. At the major island just after the large Citroen showroom, take the first exit following signs for the M5, NIA, and Convention Center. Travel along a short stretch of dual carriageway (Bordesley Middleway) for about 500m and at the next island go straight ahead (2nd exit) again following signs to NIA and Convention Center, as you descend down a long, straight ahead of dual carriageway, keep in the left hand lane. After the 1st exit left, get into the left filter lane which takes you up to an island where you go straight ahead (2nd exit). Keep in the middle left lane into Severn Street. Continue into Commercial Street and the hotel itself is about 100 meters further up on your right hand side. The Mailbox car park is to the right as you enter Severn Street. The 12 hour rate is 12GBP or 15GBP for 24 hours.
