We invite you to stay in a beautiful half-timbered building which was originally an old water-mill. You can watch the grinding process of cereals, oil and mustard or visit the distillery, the old 17th century baking house and the hall with its collection of old rural tools. The combination of a historical and romantic half-timbered hotel building and a unique event gastronomy guarantees a pleasant and memorable stay.

The extensive mill property comprises 4 romantic half-timbered houses. The particularity of this hotel is, that all accommodations were provided with modern amenities while maintaining the original character of the building. We have thus created a hotel which is second to none. Discover the beauty of the Eifel Volcano Region or spend a romantic weekend in a historical ambience, perfectly suitable for your relaxation.

Our 9 rooms have a size between 52 and 80 m² and are equipped with colour TV, mini-bar, kitchenette with fridge, living room and dining area and a design bathroom.

Experience the special, historical charm of our event gastronomy. At the Sägewerk Restaurant you can choose from our traditional “Mill Menu” or enjoy our culinary theme events. The Le Moulin Restaurant is located in the vault cellar and will surprise you with a variety of culinary specialties.

Erwin Spohr, the owner of the hotel, has created a varied entertainment programme for this year in order to make your stay at the Birgeler Mühle a special and unforgettable experience. A guided mill tour, baking bread, mustard preparation, spirit tasting events, log sawing competitions, seminars for all your senses, home made delicacies from the mill store, and special weekend arrangements cater for everyone´s taste. Even wedding ceremonies can be held at our historical water mill.
