Cordially welcome to our hotel Zur Post Bad Wiessee at the lake Tegernsee, a modern and open minded health resort which has the strongest iodine sulphur founts in Germany and also an extensive and interesting sport, leisure, and recovery program throughout the whole year.

Our three star house has 26 double and 12 single rooms. All rooms are reachable by elevator and are equipped with shower/WC, hair dryer, cable TV, radio, minibar, minisafe and ISDN-ports. Half of the rooms are non-smoker rooms.

In our restaurants (two of them non-smoker) you experience our Bavarian hospitality and we spoil you with treats of the international and regional cuisine. In the summer we organise regularly grill evenings in our beer garden. Enjoy a cool beer and fresh from the grill dressed goodies. Our bistro is a popular meeting point after an experience-rich day.

In our conference area 8 conference rooms for up to 400 entrants, equipped with modern conference techniques are at our guests’ disposal. We willingly organise an individual social program for you.

Enjoy a rich breakfast buffet for early riser or late riser in the morning and discover relaxed and fresh starched the wonderful landscape round the Tegernsee – by foot, by bicycle, by horse-drawn carriage or by ship. Easy airing at the lake promenade, challenging mountain tours, Nordic Walking or mountain biking – there is something for everyone. Boat rental is located in a distance of 200 metres. But also for winter wanderer, cross country skier and alpine skier it’s the right place to be.

You can expect a comprehensive event program throughout the whole year – from the traditional Bavarian Hoagascht, the Peter Steiner`s Theaterstadl, the Chiemgauer Volkstheater, concerts, operas to musicals.
