Our hotel is located in Bad Blankenburg at the entrance of the romantic valley Schwarzatal. Wide valleys change with wood covered mountains and beautiful canyons in this wonderful scenery

Our cosy restaurant Goldrausch has capacities for up to 55 people. Let yourself be spoiled by Thuringian hospitality and enjoy the delicious dishes for lunch and dinner. You may also have coffee or a tasty ice cream. The traditional dishes and specialities are prepared by our experienced kitchen team.

The castle ruin Greifenstein is the most famous sight of Bad Blankenstein and it is a great place to start your hiking excursions in this lovely landscape.
