Downtown La Rochelle is only about six kilometres away. From there, you can enjoy the boat rides connecting the islands of Ré, Fort Boyard and Oléron. Do not miss the visit of the aquarium and the maritime museum in La Rochelle. Only a few kilometres away, one can also visit the famous “Corderie Royale” in Rochefort and the house of the painter and writer "Pierre Loti". The marsh of the Poitou region is just a 45 minutes drive away.
